What Is Microneedling?
Microneedling — also known as collagen induction therapy — uses a device with fine sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These micro-channels trigger the body's natural wound healing response, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.
The result is firmer, smoother, more even-toned skin over time — without the downtime of more aggressive resurfacing procedures.
What It Treats
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Uneven skin texture and enlarged pores
- Acne scarring and hyperpigmentation
- Loss of skin firmness and elasticity
- Stretch marks
What to Expect
Sessions typically take 45–60 minutes including topical numbing. You may experience mild redness for 24–48 hours post-treatment. Results build progressively with 3–6 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart being optimal for most concerns.
At TBB
All microneedling treatments at The Body Building are performed by licensed professionals in a clinical med spa environment. A consultation is included to assess your skin and determine the ideal treatment protocol for your goals.
